Yeni halka arz olan hisselerde bazen al\u0131c\u0131lar \u00e7ok g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ve istekli, sat\u0131c\u0131lar ise az olunca fiyat marj limiti olan fiyatta dengelenir ve hisse tavan olur. Tavan olan hissede al\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n tavandan almak istedikleri lot say\u0131lar\u0131 tavana al\u0131\u015f olarak girilir. sat\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n satmak istedi\u011fi lot miktar\u0131 tavanda bekleyen emir miktar\u0131ndan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck oldu\u011fu s\u00fcrece hisse tavan olur. \u00d6rne\u011fin bir hisse g\u00fcne tavanda 10 milyon lot al\u0131\u015f emri ile ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f olsun. 10 milyon lotluk tavan\u0131n bozulmas\u0131 i\u00e7in ya 10 milyon lot sat\u0131\u015f olmal\u0131, ya da al\u0131c\u0131lar emirlerini iptal etmelidir.
